22/02/2015 A quiet day at home so a few photos from yesterday of interest.

Maximum temperature 7C, minimum -2C.  We seemed to have missed all of yesterdays rain that was around according to the rain gauge! Dry today.

    Hi Diane , well we did not miss the rain again!! It is absolutely hammering down. Anyway you always find such wonderful things to photograph ..The carvings are amazing work of art. Pricey yes but the hours that were put in. I am having a quiet afternoon , recovering from a party last night. My eldest sons surprise 40th birthday party !!!!! Take care xox anne

    I like the bust too but not as much as the price tag shows. Next time you're there please slip that letter box in your hand bag for me.

      No chance Craig, it is going to end up outside our house so you will have to come and steal it from me LOL The wood carvings were brilliant, but yes so were the price tags, but I would not put in all that effort for less!! There was one I really liked but I did not think it would be approved of on a family blog! That will keep you guessing he he. Have a good week Diane

    Lovely post Diane, showing so many things and even a blue tit and a dove!
    The sculptures are gorgeous, not unlike what we brought back from SA!
    I hope your weather is better than ours, another set of drab days ahead here....

      Thanks Noushka for the kind words. We also have a selection of carvings from S.A. but most of ours are stone including a complete chess set in soapstone. The weather is horrible and the garden is saturated again, a bit like walking on a sponge! Cheers Diane
