25/05/2015 Public holiday here today so not much going on. Pentecost yesterday so Monday is the holiday.

Maximum temperature 21C, minimum 28 km/h NW wind.  Rain forecast but none so far!

  1. The pale poppy makes a rather nice change from the vibrant orange. Does your sweet william come back every year? I've read conflicting reports about it.

    1. Craig in 2010 I made that flower bed after the removal of a horrible prickly fir that was taking over in the wrong place. I probably only planted it out in 2011, but I know I used a couple of packets of mixed flower seeds. One of the those seeds was obviously a sweet william. I have never planted any more since, but you can see how it has spread and there are now a number of plants. The original plant is still there and I guess the rest have seeded from it. There are a couple of poppies that are almost white but I have not seen them yet this year. Diane

    1. I love the warmer weather Pam simply because of the lizards coming out of hibernation, I so miss them in winter and I also hate the cold!. Thanks for the comment. Diane
