28/06/2015 Not much going on in the garden. The plants are drooping and the bugs and lizards are under shelter!

Maximum temperature 28C, minimum 14C.  17 km/h NW wind. Dry and forecast says it will just get hotter!

  1. Everything will become very parched this week for you Diane. I saw 40C predicted for around your area! They even say 24C for us which tells you how much hotter it will be with you. Time to get the watering can and hose at the ready! Lovely close ups as always!

    1. Thanks Craig, how I wish we had a well! Watering by the mains is not cheap. We have one rain barrel off the greenhouse that collects, but it can really only cope with the watering inside and not the main garden! Oh well just hope I can keep everything alive. Take care Diane

  2. Have you considered drilling your well? Our house in Cognac had a well when we bought it and we used it almost exclusively for everything (inside thanks to the water softener). It was an enormous help in the garden. The well would need to be deep, ours was around 80M I think! And the pump will be about 1600 euros...
