Oh! just love going to markets like these. There is always something unique hiding & waiting to be discovered. I think, I may have stayed with those buttons for awhile.
ReplyDeleteSusie they are fun these markets but it was the chocolate that captivated us! I have a tin of buttons, my Mum saved them over many years and just kept putting them in the the magic tin. There are some very interesting buttons there! Diane
DeleteHello Diane. A lovely market , thank you for sharing. I think my grandmother had a button tin. Not sure though. I am sure you had fun looking at all the wonderful goods. Take care and have a safe trip . Merry Christmas to you both. Let's hope 2016 is good to us all, xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. I think button tins were the in things in those days! Hope you have a good Xmas and a much better 2016 :-) Take care Diane xox

We are at a huge one tonight in Amiens :-). You would love it. All the best Diane
DeleteExactly how a Christmas market should be with local artisans selling their work. The chocolate work is especially impressive. I wouldn't have the heart to eat it. Who am I kidding... anything with chocolate is eaten in this house!
ReplyDeleteIt was very yummy :) At a huge market in Amiens tonight, amazing. Diane
DeleteHello diane,
ReplyDeleteYes I am going to my brother's in the Alps for a few days, halting at a blogger's friend on the way back, but since I have never been a fan of Xmas, this one will be a pain.
Much love, keep well, hugs to both of you
Still good to have company though maybe. We don't celebrate when it is just the two of us. This year though we have to as back in the UK with FIL aged almost 95. Travel safely and take care Diane Hugs.x
DeleteWhat a wonderful Christmas Market. So many different things to see and buy.
