Two way road....
not much room.
We stopped at the dechetterie, (recycling). Always so clean and tidy.
A wooden carving peering out from the shrubs!
The parish church of Saint-Saturnin from the XII century.
The local town hall and Mairie. Not sure when this was built, but the first mayor that I can track down was in 1899. The building has just been cleaned and is looking wonderful.
The local railway station has also just been restored.
I was impressed with myself last night - this courgette souffle looked and tasted amazing :-)
Oh I love this totem-carving peering out of the vegetation!
ReplyDeleteI find it really stunning!
Your souflé looks very yummy and successful!
I hope you are well, I am very busy with the stag rut these days, it does not last long!
Warm hugs, Diane, and enjoy your afternoon
Ha ha Noushka he always looks angry to me peering out of the vegetation!Your photos as always are just stunning. Have a good week and stay well, hugs Diane
DeleteI tend to remember cement mixers always being on the road when you are in a hurry!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Generally here is large tractors which are even slower than cement mixers!!!! Which ever they take up all the road! Have a good week Diane
DeleteYou have beautiful weather at 23 C! It is amazing the recycling centre is so neat and clean. Beautiful and impressive buildings. I think I can smell the freshly baked courgette souffle!
ReplyDeleteNancy I was so happy with that souffle it worked out exactly as it should :-) The recycling place is always spotless which ever way you look. Have a good day Diane
DeleteSure are narrow roads. That wooden guy looks like he's hiding in the bush. Great to see these old buildings restored. You are going crazy with courgettes. That looks scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteNormally that wooden guy at this time of the year is barely visible but due to lack of rain....... The railway station I have been saying ever since we moved here that it needs restoring so glad that someone has actually arranged it at last. Keep well Diane
