13 and 14/01/2017 Sorry yesterday went by in a flash! Some shots of yesterday and today.

Maximum temperature 8C, minimum -2C. 42km/h NE wind. 9mm rain measured. Some hail last night as well!

    I love how you caught the Robin taking off, great shot!
    I love hellebores but those I planted in ex-garden didn't do well.
    I think we are facing a cold spell, keep warm although I believe there will power cuts once in a while they said...

  5. What is the little "island" in the centre of your bird bath?

    1. It is a stone/rock holding it down, mainly if the water evaporates. It is only a plastic container and would blow away easily if empty. Diane
