15/03/2017 Too windy for any decent photos, everything was on the move!!

Maximum temperature 18C, minimum 2C.  35km/h NE wind. Dry.
Lesser celandine with bug.

Viburnum also with bug!

Broad bean flowers.

Common Speedwell.

Topinambour from the garden.  (Jerusalem artichoke)

Sheep across the road from us.

  2. Lovely photos of flowers and critters. The artichokes look like our sweet potatoes.

    1. The artichokes are much rougher than sweet potatoes and very much harder to peel. Scrubbing them is an option, but when they are really dirty and knobbly then that is also difficult! I have grown sweet potatoes here, but it is not really warm enough for a long enough period. Diane

    1. Same as any vegetable, boiled, fried, roast as a veg, raw in a salad and they make amazing soups. Cheers Diane
