21/05/2017 A very busy day.

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 6C.  12 km/h SE wind.   Dry.

Since my last post we have had 53 mm of rain and temps that have varied from 35C to 6C !!!!

The photos taken while we were away have not even been looked at yet.  No time for the camera except a quick run around the garden this evening.  I have been spring cleaning and gardening so am very tired.
I will catch up with comments as soon as I have the time!

    1. We had our first cherry clafoutis last night, the tree is laden so between myself and our neighbour we are going to be very busy! Hope all is well there Diane

    2. Lucky you. Bill has a few cherries on his backyard tree this year. I could only find a few ripe enough to eat and not already enjoyed by the birds and the bugs.

    3. Glad to hear Bill is still around, you have not mentioned him for ages. We have so many on out tree that even the birds cannot beat us to it though I do keep a watch out for stinging bugs! Diane

  4. Do you just sit in the garden to get all these great shots? haha...I love Hummingbird Moths! First time I ever saw one was a night on the deck and I was not sure what it was, thought when I flew by that maybe it was a bat. Nice job.

    1. I was out in the garden with the camera for about 5 minutes, the insects and animals are very accommodating (usually) and my camera does all the work for me :-) I wish I had time to sit as there are a lot of birds around but they are not so accommodating!! Have a good week Diane

  6. Magnificent photos as usual. Durban has also been having unseasonal weather. Flooding rains in May and hot summer temperatures.
