Maximum temperature 19C, minimum 11C. 11 km/h SW wind with 29 km/h gusts. 3mm of rain overnight.  Rain forecast the rest of the week plus storms so it seems.
Autumn Crocus/Daffodil (Stembergia lutea) and Echeveria - succulent.

Bumble Bee on the lavender...

as above.

The Euonymus with its autumn colours.

Pampas.

Rose.

Small white on the lavender....

and the caterpillars of the small white butterfly are destroying the garden!!!

Bath time - the sparrows splash all the water out and I fill up 3 to 4 times a day...

as above.

All on her own...

Queen of the castle :-)

We love each other ♥

Meadow Brown (I think) (Maniola jurtina)

  4. I've just noticed how similar daffodils are to tulips. We visited the Flower Dome in Singapore this year and they had a whole range of different coloured and types of tulips. It was a magnificent display.

    1. These are not really daffodils, they are quite different with a trumpet shape. This is Autumn Crocus/daffodils and are not actually related as far as I know. The shape is similar to the spring crocus but larger, and the colour is the same as a daffodil. Guess that is how they got their common name. I love tulips but I have not got any exotic ones in our garden! Have a good day, cheers Diane
