Maximum temperature today 21C, minimum 9C. Rain measured this morning 35mm. 25km/h North-westerly winds with gusts up to 51 km/h. Very high winds expected tomorrow!
Just before we left home - I took this photo the evening before.
Over the neighbour's rooftop.
Driving to the Dordogne.
We had to drive to Souillac the following day to deliver Nigel's bike which he had sold, the weather was awful, but I just liked this distorted shot of driving through Beynac et Cazenac in the pouring rain.
The following insects and frog are all in the Dordogne, bee on an unknown shrub.
Bumblebee, on an unknown wildflower...
As above.
A little 'hopper' on a buttercup.
Common blue butterfly (Polyommatus icarus) female...
As above.
Common blue butterfly (Polyommatus icarus) male...
As above.
A beetle that I thought to be a chafer beetle but the antennae are too long I think!
Possibly a Pool Frog (Pelophylax lessonae).
There are still a lot of photos to edit, the garden is taking up much of my time. For those of you who always ask to see the inside of churches, there are quite a lot of those as well!!
