07/07/2019 More bugs from our last holiday

Maximum temperature today 30C, minimum 17C.  Dry.  10km/h North-easterly winds with gusts up to 25 km/h.  

Still many unknowns, ID is not easy !!!

Fritillary Butterfly but not sure which one....

Beetle, possibly one of the longhorns.

Unknown.

White tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris / lucorum).

Provençal fritillary (Melitaea deione)...

Pearly heath (Coenonympha arcania)...

One of the Fritillaries, not sure which, on a buttercup.

Damselfly...

Moth, I think one of the Geometer moths...

Shield bug (Graphosoma italicum).

25/07/2018 A few more photos from the week away. Too hot for the insects here they are all in hiding

Maximum temperature today 32C, minimum 17C.  Dry; 9 km/h North-easterly winds with up to 22 km/h gusts.  
The car reading today was 37C!

Marbled White butterfly (Melanargia galathea)

Common blue (I think) (Polyommatus icarus) ...

Cosmos with a little bug.

Cow parsley with bugs.

Dandelion and bee.

I think this moth may be a Geometer but........
