01/08/2015 A trip into Chasseneuil to the market this morning and a few photos en route.

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 12C. 18 km/h N wind. Dry and warming up again tomorrow.

  1. The buildings surrounding the market have so much history I would imagine. A lovely spot for a market.

    1. The church of St Saturnin in Chasseneuil is dated from the eleventh and twelfth centuries, so yes masses of history. Every Saturday there is a small market here, and in another spot on Wednesdays. The once a month they have a huge market that takes over the whole town. Have a good day Diane

    1. We love Pintade and I serve it with an orange sauce, yum yum. That saucepan is good on top, or in the oven which makes it doubly useful. It is Corning ware Vision made in France, BUT Nigel bought it for me in South Africa at least 20 years ago! Hope your day is a good one Diane
