22/11/2015 A visit to a local privately owned wine cellar, and a few shots in the garden.

Maximum temperature 8C, minimum -1C.  22 km/h N wind.  Dry. Frost.
Wine Barrels.

Gamay.

The technical bit!

White wine.

Bergenia Cordifolia,

Broad Beans.

Cotoneaster against a blue sky.

Echeveria

The yellow of the ginkgo biloba.

Face on!  Great tit. The light was not very good but....

No not a snowman, just a tree protected against the frost :-) I hope!

    1. That is a bay tree which should not really need protecting but 3 years ago when the barn reached -18C it took offence to the weather and I nearly lost it. It was though quite young then. I also have two rosemary bushes covered which I nearly lost the same year!! Diane

    2. Hi Diane . How privileged to be invited to a privately owned wine cellar. Very interesting. Looks like they produce a fair amount of wine . Garden looking greati as usual. Take care Anne xox

    3. Anne it was very interesting but not to buy shares which is was the main idea,........... they were not cheap and Nigel much prefers red wine anyway. Their main wine was a colombard (we prefer S.A colombard to French) or else they had a sweet wine which neither of us likes. Very educational none the less. Diane xox
