24/11/2015 Frost, autumn colours and feathered friends

Maximum temperature 10C, minimum -2C.   45 km/h S winds. Some rain but not measured.
Frost this morning.

Frosted origanum.

The yellow leaves of the ginkgo...

The brown of the oak,,,

The soft red of the viburnum opulus....

and the yellow green of the maple.

Seeds from the garlic chives.

Viburnum tinus

Mrs Blackbird.

Mrs Sparrow.

  1. You're ahead of us Diane. We've not had a grass frost yet. The Autumn colours on the leaves are captured beautifully!

    1. We actually had a frost in September just one day out of the blue which did quite a bit of garden damage! Since then it has been like summer all over again. Take it easy Diane
