06/01/2016 Out of the window for me, and Nigel went out in the car.

Maximum temperature 12C, minimum 4C.  51 km/h S wind. 13 mm rain measured this morning.
I wondered where the birds where when I saw our neighbours cat appear.  Yes, I know a pretty cat, but unwelcome in our garden.

The blue tits soon came back.  The others are more wary...

As above.

French village in the rain....

Shopping in the rain at Leclerc.  Note the moon up in the sky!

  1. The blue tits are sweet, and so is the cat but not if you want to watch the birds.

    1. Gaelyn I love cats but not in our garden! Few people feed the birds sound here so they all take advantage of us, a haven for cats and hawks. The hawks are nature but the cat is well fed and fat! The blu tits are sweet but we only ever seen them in winter. Have a good day Diane

  2. Nothing worse than neighbour's cats in your garden. I hate it.Wish we could send you some sunshine in exchange for some more rain.

    1. Wish you could send us some hot sun as well, you are welcome to the rain ! Impossible to keep the cats away, too much to attract them but I hate them here. T'other Diane

  3. I'm with you with the cats in your garden Diane. We never used to have them when Boris was around but now they seem wise to there not being a dog in the house and we have three who visit the garden every day or two. They managed to kill a dove last year (One of a pair) which annoyed the hell out of me. He or she now seems to have a new mate I'm pleased to say.

    1. I know it is nature for them to catch birds, but when I go to the trouble of attracting them, it is more then annoying when well fed cats from next door come and kill them not even for food. If the owner of this cat was a little more reasonable I would fit it with a bell, but sadly he is the only generally disliked person in the hamlet. His only good point is that he seems to be good to his cat! Take care Diane
