15/3/2016 A trip into Angouleme. Mostly drive-by photos so apologies for the blur.

Maximum temperature 16C, minimum 4C.  The car reading though in Angouleme was 19C.  27 km/h N winds.
A quick stop at La Rochefoucauld en route to try and get the mower working!

Angouleme wall paintings...

as above across the roof tops...

The rail station.

More wall paintings...

and a little closer.

Stone carvings on one of the buildings.

From the top of the hill overlooking the station and the Saint Cybard district.

Restaurants in the centre of town.

Former paper mill of Saint-Cybard (end of 19th century), now a museum of paper, Angouleme - Charente river.

I don't generally bother with graffiti, but I felt this was quite apt at the present time on this old building!

Our favourite restaurant in Angouleme which is in St Cybard.  Bet this was the first day people were sitting outside!!!

Truck carrier on the way home....

and a car carrier.
I took quite a few photos in the market but I will put those on when I have a quiet day with other photos.
