15/08/2016 Been in the kitchen all day so photos pretty dull!

Maximum temperature 34C, minimum 15C.  19 km/h SE  wind. Dry.
Day of the courgettes, this is still what is left!

Courgette and ginger jam.

Courgette chocolate cake,

Courgette Ice cream.

and Nigel has been rubbing down the window and the doors all day in the spare room.

    1. I made it before and we loved it so it is certainly cheaper than buying ice cream. Simple to make and yummy, with the higher temperatures it is going down well :-) Diane

  3. I've eaten courgette/zucchini chocolate cake before but never ice cream. Always a lot of those in the garden to be inventive with.

    1. Over 100 courgettes this year and at least 60 dehydrated for winter soups! We are hooked on the ice cream so a goodway to use them up :-) Diane
