  1. I don't know of any species called Canadian Maple. Do you have the scientific name?

    1. Not a clue, someone gave me that name! Looking it up you are right, it is an Acer of some sort I presume, but the photos of Red Maple are much brighter than this one appears to be, also it does not seem to be in France! These leaves are a deep red, will have to check with a nursery sometime but they are few and far between here. The tree next to it has a green maple shaped leaf and when I asked the nursery some time ago about that, all they could tell me was that was also an Acer!!!!!! Mystery but thanks for telling me. 2. That is a pretty banded snail. Beautiful critters images. Your tomatoes inspired me to plant cherry tomatoes again.

    1. Nancy the snails are pretty but very destructive!!! I did not grow cherry tomatoes this year, we grew the plum type which has more flesh and less pips. Keep well Diane

  3. Great "emergency" shots. Especially like the snail. And the tomatoes. Who doesn't like tomatoes fresh from the garden.

    1. Nothing better than either tomatoes or figs picked on a warm sunny day and eaten immediately :-))) The snail is pretty but that does not stop it from being destructive!!! Keep well and drive safely. Diane
