08/10/2016 Lunch at Les Pigeons Blancs.

Maximum temperature 19C, minimum 4C. 20 km/h NE wind. Dry.
The path to the restaurant...

Inside..

as above.

I forgot a photo of the amuse-bouche and also the wine !!
We both picked encornet for starter. (Squid). Served warm with what were obviously home made bread rolls.

Nigel had duck which he said was delicious and the gravy was amazing.

I had Cabillaud, with what tasted like a mash potato with herb and vegetable flavours. (Cod)

Desert you picked from the trolley and we picked 3 each,...

to me this was the highlight of the meal  :-)  The little sponge at the back of this plate was a Cognac Baba,  no shortage of cognac, yum yum

Little sweet cakes arrived with the coffee.
Not the cheapest meal, but excellent flavours, good service and we both left full.
