27/10/2016 Busy in the kitchen as friends to lunch tomorrow. A few rushed photos.

Maximum temperature 20C, minimum 4C.  30 km/h SE wind. Dry.

Rub a dub dub 4 birds in a tub...

and one all on its own.

Green tomato pie.

Garbure in the big saucepan and custard in preparation to go on the trifle.

I might take a break tomorrow as we have friends here. Be back at the weekend.

  1. Diane, your pie looks absolutely scrumptious!!! And your photos are so beautiful. I really love nature and I love your photography. Sparrows are so adorable. I never tire of watching birds bathe, I find it so enjoyable and soothing. Thank you so much for sharing.
