10/01/2017 January is flying by with a few birds in the garden.

Maximum temperature 10C, minimum 5C. 45km/h NE wind. 10mm rain measured.
Wood Pigeons, a sparrow, a chaffinch, a male and female blackbird and a blue tit :-)

A dancing Great tit....

Turning its back on me!

Mrs Blackbird.

Female sparrows.

  1. They are all beautiful, Diane, and the one turning its back on you must have been studying cat behaviour! LOL! :)

    1. Very unusual to get a shot of the birds all together though at a distance. We have a stray cat that appears quite often so you may well be right! Have a good day Diane

  2. Nice range of species. Whenever I visit Europe they are of course all to be expected, but I can only imagine the rarity of them if they were to be seen here!

    1. Plenty of them around here but not often I can get a photo of them altogether. Diane
