01/04/2017 Around the garden in between showers.

Maximum temperature 14C, minimum 6C.  16 kmh NW wind.   6 mm rain measured this morning.
Cherry blossom.  Note the amount of pollen the bee is carrying.

Gendarme beetle.

He thought I could not see him :-))

and another Common Lizard.

The poppies have been open for a couple of days, but I guess they thought it was too cold and damp today!

White versions of the Spanish variety of bluebells.  Our bluebells have not even got buds yet which is good so they do not cross pollinate.

Loved this wine bottle holder seen at a local restaurant.

and I fell in love with this painting at the same place.

  4. All that pollen looks like britches on the bee. Cute wine plane. That painting is amazing. I assume the dress is textured.
