15/04/2017 Busy day in the garden, and at the market this morning but forgot the camera! A few rushed photos this evening.

Maximum temperature 16C, minimum 6C. 12 kmh NW wind.  Dry.
Bee on the Choisya ternata...

as above.

Looks like we are in for colder weather, hope the young cherries survive!

Wild Bluebell....

and cultivated bluebell.

Red robin.

Bearded Iris.

Market day and oysters.

I seldom bake but I made a ginger cake for Easter!

  1. I rejoice every time I see a pollinator. They are under threat from so many quarters these days and without them we will be in a sorry mess.

    1. I could not agree more. France has changed many laws this year on what pesticides can be used, the shops now have the ones that will be banned by the end of the year under lock and key. Hopefully this will help the pollinators. Have a good day Diane

    1. I also hope the cherries survive, we had none last year because of too much rain so I hope this year they do not get frozen on the tree! It is a yummy cake and going fast :-) Hope all is well Diane

    1. I was surprised to see any yesterday as it was so much cooler and we have a cold week coming up if the forecast is right. Admittedly there were not too many around though. Cheers Diane
