  4. What a wonderful destination for a day out on a fine day, Diane. Such a destination on a public holiday in Britain would be overrun with people!

    Have a great weekend - - - Richard

    1. Richard I must admit we were surprised it was so peaceful on a holiday, but as we do not like crowds it suited us well. Hope your weekend is a good one, cheers Diane

  5. Hello Diane, what a great day out you had. I love all the photos but the last one of your drive through the forest is my favorite. I used to follow you and somehow we got disconnected. I'm going to try and follow you again now. Have a great day. Jo

  6. This is my first visit. What beautiful, beautiful blogs you have!

I read blogs, on my computer. An old iMac, but large size screen. I do not understand, how people attempt to look at blogs, on any hand held device. In fact, I deplore it.

We put time and effort into our blogs. Into all aspects of them. And I am quite upset, when people admit that they read-on-hand-held. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Can they really be that busy? That they don't have a few minutes, to sit down at their computers, to view the-whole-blog???

Ooops, sorry for the soap box moment. But I thought that this is what you are referring to, at the very top of your blog.

Many gentle hugs, from the upper North East of the US,
    Luna Crone

    1. Hi Luna and thanks for the comment. I used to always put my headings in the html so as not to clutter the page but I ended up having to answer so many comment from people that could not read it on their ipads that I gave up!!! On the computer it was easy to hover over the photos and read what was necessary. Not a major problem but I agree that you cannot appreciate the photos properly on an ipad.

Hope to see you back and more comments, have a good weekend Diane
