  3. We have just had a cold weekend - well as cold as it gets in Melbourne - these pictures make me think about the kids of insects we will start seeing a month or so.

    1. Yes I do not imagine it gets as cold there as it does here. That is what I miss about Rhodesian days, and I guess even Mugabe has not messed that up - if we got one frost a year it was a lot!!
I hate winter, and as you will soon be in spring so we head for autumn. A pretty time of the year but I do hate winter!
      Cheers Diane

  4. Hello Diane,
    Lovely colourful summer photos!
Your flowers are gorgeous and bustle with life!
That crab spider might just turn pink in its new environment! LOL!
I hope your weather is warmer than here, it is cloudy and humid and I am cold!!

  7. Super images, Diane. I had to look twice at that Speckled Wood - it's a very different colour to the ones we see here in England. Ours are brown and cream, and don't have the orange colouring - although aberrant one similar to your are occasionally seen I believe.

I'm sorry to hear that your weather has been about as dire as ours. I hope it picks up for you soon.

    Best wishes - - - Richard

    1. Interesting that the Speckled Wood is a slightly different colour to ours here.

The weather is foul at present and not particularly warm by our standards. As for the WiFi it is on and off all the time and I hope I catch it right occasionally, apart from being slower than dial up!! The nexus is easier than the computer but I cannot blog on the nexus.

      Keep well, Diane
