26/08/2017 A busy day sorting out my other blog so a few garden photos.

Maximum temperature 31C, minimum 17C.  4 km/h SE wind with 15 km/h gusts.  Dry.
My favourite rose.

Sedum with bee.

as above.

Viburnum.

Autumn crocus/daffodil.

Petunia.

Californian poppy.

Longhorn beetle on the sedum.

Think this is a kind of bee on the flowers of the garlic chives.

Rosemary beetle on the sage and a pest!

Another kg plus of beans and this is only the first lot of tomatoes today!!

N.B. If you are interested - Part 2 of out trip to South Africa and Botswana is HERE

    1. The rosemary beetle was in full sun and would have been better in the shade. The photo was a bit overexposed! They are very pretty though and it is sad that they are pests! Have a good week Diane

  7. Hi there - first signs of spring here this weekend - nesting birds and wattle in flower - although I was looking at both on three layers of fleece in a hail storm!!
