ReplyDeleteThe variety of form and colour of flowers never ceases to amaze me. I took Plant Biology in university, but somehow the dry, intellectual knowledge never seems to come close to explaining the sheer diversity, to say nothing of the beauty. Any time you wish to send me flowers, feel free to do so!

ReplyDeleteHello Diane , I do hope that your and Nigel are having a fantastic holiday . You know I love a google challenge :-) so while I have been waiting for guests to arrive , I thought I would set to and look for the "unknown" plants. I have been doing it for about an hour now .. and in order .. 1st unknown (Yellow Allamanda) 2nd unknown ( Cassia Alata Candlestick, candlebush ) 3rd Unknown (Heliconia family) and the last one (Hawaiian Ti Maria Cordyline) .. not saying it is 100% but this is what my search showed me .. I hope I am right with one or two of them :-) ♥ Look forward to seeing more of your fab photos , take care xoxo
