12/09/2019 Where did the last month go to???????

Maximum temperature today 26C, minimum 11C.  Very dry.  12km/h North-easterly winds with gusts up to 25 km/h. 

13/08/2019 Full moon.

14/08/2019 Sunflowers

18/08/2019 Michael and Mary arrive at Angouleme Station from the USA via Paris.

20/08/2019 Visiting Saint Emillion.

21/08/2019 Bordeaux.

23/08/2019 Lourdes which was number one on their bucket list.

24/08/2019 Carcassonne.

26/08/2019 The Cathedral at Albi.
Cathedrale Sainte-Cecile: The largest red-brick cathedral in the world.

27/08/2019 A Potter wasp, a visit back home.

28/08/2019 Visiting St Germain-de-Confolens, Chateau remains.

29/08/2019 Wall murals in Angouleme.

31/08/2019 The convent cloisters in la Rochefoucauld.

More to follow but so much to do before we leave for the RSA 9 October.  Posts will be very sparce I fear for the remainder of the year.  I will visit you all when I can.

  13. Gorgeous photos Diane, your visitors would have enjoyed exploring so much. Can you believe your temperatures are exactly the same as ours at the moment, no rain for a while either. I suppose autumn and spring can be similar at times, except for the dropping leaves and growing new ones thing 😉 Hope you are both keeping well, much to my annoyance the cough has returned 😱 Take care xx

  17. I can see now why you have been so busy, Diane! I don't know how Americans survive their 'Europe in a week' style vacations - they must need a month off afterwards to recuperate! Seriously though, I've really enjoyed this post, especially as I have visited (even stayed at) a few of those places. Take good care and don't overdo things - - - Richard
