26/03/2020 Playing with frames again.

Maximum temperature here today 12C, minimum 0C. Dry.  Frost this morning, ice on the birdbath.   16km/h North-easterly icy cold wind with gusts up to 39 km/h.  

Think this might be Hawksbeard but not sure which one.

Seen out walking and unknown.

Daffodil.

Grape Hyacinth Blue (Muscari armeniacum). Plus a weed!

Cowslip (Primula veris).

Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa).

Bay tree (Laurus nobilis).

Cherry tree blossom.

Poppies, and yes the bulbs came from Amsterdam.

Mirabelle plum blossom, also known as mirabelle prune or cherry plum (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca) plus a bee.

More poppies.

Mirabelle plum blossom and bee.

The kale in the veggie garden going to seed.

An orange poppy, bulbs also from Amsterdam.

Viola.

Common Wall Lizard (Podarcis Muralis).

  8. Gorgeous framed spring flowers Diane, the blossoms are so pretty, such a shame they don't last too long. I bet the birds weren't thrilled about the ice on the birdbaths :) Hope you are both keeping well during this mad period, let's hope it is over sooner rather than later. Take care xox

    1. Hi Grace, so far we have been extra busy with the house, garden etc but suddenly it tried to snow today!! Fire back on and we only went out to feed the birds. Yes, I agree I hope all this will be over soon, but I suspect it is going to drag on longer than we think or hope. Just stay safe, Diane
