12/05/2017 A quick walk around the garden as I have been in the kitchen most of the day.

Maximum temperature 19C, minimum 9C.  12 km/h SW wind.   4 mm rain measured this morning. 
The cherries are ripening, if all is well I will be very busy in the kitchen in a weeks time.

Dog Rose.

05/05/2017 We have been working hard in the garden today. A few bugs came to my rescue for the daily photos.

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 4C.  17 kmh E wind 28 km/h gusts.   Dry.
Bee on the dog rose.

Capricorn longhorn beetle (Cerambyx cerdo)

as above on the peony.

Chafer beetle.

Think this is one of the soldier beetles.

Trichodes alvearius also on the dog rose.

Bearded Iris.

Rose.

This spider was only about 4mm, identification is beyond me!

We will be out tomorrow and Sunday - if there is no blog I will be back on Monday!!!
