19/09/2014 Some more photos from Wednesday as I have not had time to take any today!

Maximum temperature 28C.  Rain around but it seems to have missed us.
Names not showing again as with a few days ago!!!

Raccoon, originally from the USA, but escapees from Germany have formed a colony and breed readily in Europe.

Sanglier (Wild Pig)

Wolf, only a few remain in Western Europe.

18/09/2014 We went to Marais Poitevin yesterday. Firstly a boat trip, lunch followed, and then a visit to Zoodysee, so this is yesterday's photos today!!

Maximum temperature 28C.  12 mm of rain early this morning with lots of thunder around.

All animals are European, are in large quarters and appear to be very happy. Some have babies so they must be breeding happily in captivity.
