09/07/2017 The local hunt repas

Maximum temperature 27C, minimum 16C.   9 km/h NE winds with 10 km/h gusts. Some rain not measured as yet.

Note: I do not approve of hunting in any form, but the wild boar (sanglier), are a real pest to the crops in France and they are breeding well.

Our friend Jean who appears to have made a great recovery from lung cancer having had one lung removed.

05/05/2016 Ascension day holiday today celebrated the French way. Tiling starts on the verandah.

Taponnat Salle des Fêtes. A new building that was only completed about 18 months ago. Thankfully it is away from the old town.

The Samsung did not do very well today and the only photo worth using was the starter!!!  Melon, tomato and pâté de sanglier. 

The French horn players. We had a great meal, but mostly it was a bit too disco like for us and very noisy.  If only they had turned the speakers down a bit!!

28/12/12 Recovery day!! Tonight's dinner

Temperature 14C 2mm of rain overnight

After yesterday's very early flight with little sleep, we slept very late today and staggered around like zombies. The camera only came into use at dinner time!
