Nice to see you are up and about today.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am happy to be up and about but still coughing a bit, thankfully once I go to sleep now I seem not to cough until I wake naturally. Also nice to be out despite the weather! Diane
DeleteI've seen on the weather channel that you have had a lot of rain. Hope no flooding! Lovely photos of the birds!! So glad you got home safely!
ReplyDeleteWe have had 140mm this month so far (about 5 1/2 inches), we are high though so no problems with flooding, our local village has a river running through it though! Glad to see you back, I was worried as you seem to have gone AWOL for the past week. Keep well Diane
DeleteI love the shot of the railway crossing Diane. Typically Charente and very peaceful and lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt was exceptionally quiet out yesterday, typical Monday, half the French have the day off and the supermarket was also quiet and being Monday had run out of a number of things!!!!! When are you off to Portugal? Diane
DeleteIn the Algarve now Diane. Arrived yesterday. 19C and sunny. Had lunch outside. Heaven!
DeleteHope it stays that way for you I have been very cold today! Enjoy Diane
DeleteHi Diane , I do hope that you feel a lot better now. Love the supermarkets there as you know. No difference here I am sorry to say. Oh just looked out , the rain has stopped and the sun is shining but it is still very cold !!!! Take care Anne xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, I am feeling better but just not energetic, bit like I am flying at half mast!! The rain stopped here this afternoon for a bit, but yes the cold came with it! Take are and keep warm. Diane xox
DeleteLove all that green. Are they meadows or agriculture? I'm reading blogs with rain in Florida, South Africa and now France.
ReplyDeleteThose fields are all agriculture, at this time of the year mostly winter wheat. South Africa needs the rain as that have had drought conditions this season but they do not need storms! There has been masses of rain all over Europe this January with mild temperatures. Looks like winter though is on its way and the cold is arriving very soon! Keep warm Diane
