Maximum temperature 8C, minimum 1C. 49 km/h W wind. 10mm rain measured.
Taken early morning from the car while the skies were blue...
Thought I might get in a short walk when I got home, but looking past the sheep the rain was catching up with me so I had a swift return home. One photo taken!
Snowdrops in the garden.
Tulips bought as a thank you to a friend,
Wonderful surprise today when a calender arrived from Farm-ily in Australia....
This is the January photo. Thanks so much CountryMum, much appreciated. Love your blog.
You have a lovely country side and your flower are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, I loved the multi colour Tulips :-) Have a good day Diane
DeleteNice calendar - Farm-ily runs a great blog.
ReplyDeletecheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Thanks Stewart, yes I love the blog and the calendar is really nice. Diane
DeleteJust found your blog whilst browsing through other blogs I read.
ReplyDeleteYour posts appealed to me as I also live in rural France near to Chalus, and probably our daily lives are similar. Some-days we may only see 'le facteur'. having so much rain these past weeks has made getting out in the garden difficult. Loved your photos of the snowdrops, I think my snowdrop bulbs have been eaten by the mice, I only have a few flowers this year. I dabble in watercolour painting and while we have so much rain, seeing your lovely photo has inspired me to get painting again, maybe just a few cards. I look forward to seeing more of your visits to different parts of France.
Thanks Barbara for visiting and for commenting as well. Love your blog and I will be following you in your French adventures. Just looked up Chalus and I find yet another town with so much history. Enjoy your painting and take care Diane
DeleteLove the sheep and rain shot. The snow drops are pretty too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, though we are really getting fed up with all the rain now!! T'other Diane
DeleteYou can tell I am just catching up on your blog, Diane. We have had a very busy week hay making, with not much spare time. I am so glad that you like the calendar. It was a pleasure to be able to send you one.
ReplyDeleteThanks CountryMum, the calendar is well appreciated. Don't work too hard! Diane
