It was raining by the time I had reached here...
and the dam was in darkness.
Suddenly the sun shone through the rain...
and what a delight to see...
These three photos were taken within seconds of each other so why is the sky so different?
Nearly home and mole hills in our neighbours field.
This evening's setting sun.
A double rainbow!! How incredible is that. Nature does certainly know how to put on a show.
ReplyDeleteNature is amazing, I was so lucky to see this. Just wish I had been carrying the Nikon, but the little Samsung did a reasonable job. Diane
DeleteOMWow!!! Such a delightful gift for the day. Certainly worth a little rain.
ReplyDeleteIt is first one I have seen here with both ends in their pot of gold :-) Pity they just keep moving away though!
DeleteKeep well Diane
What stunning photos - they've given me a great start to my day. I've never seen a double rainbow - how lucky you were!
ReplyDeleteIt was superb Anne and a full one at that. I did feel very lucky that I had picked to walk that way. Hope you are well Diane
DeleteLove the country view and gorgeous double rainbow. The sky is always amazing to watch.
ReplyDeleteYou also get some great sky shots but a rainbow is always very special. Enjoy your day Diane
DeleteA double rainbow is a spectacular sight. Thank goodness you had a camera handy.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had of had the Nikon with me but it is a hassle to walk with! The little Samsung though at least captured the moment. Hope it is warming up over there!! Diane
