11/04/2016 A walk in the rain, but wow it was worth it :-)

Maximum temperature 16C, minimum 8C.  31 km/h SW winds.  8mm rain measured this morning.
Tapponat Château.

Rapeseed in the distance beyond the wheat and the main road.

Sharing 'my' road with a tractor and a car.

Watching the storms in front of me....

while another one is catching me up from behind!

It was raining by the time I had reached here...

and the dam was in darkness.

Suddenly the sun shone through the rain...

and what a delight to see...

These three photos were taken within seconds of each other so why is the sky so different?

Nearly home and mole hills in our neighbours field.

This evening's setting sun.

  1. A double rainbow!! How incredible is that. Nature does certainly know how to put on a show.

    1. Nature is amazing, I was so lucky to see this. Just wish I had been carrying the Nikon, but the little Samsung did a reasonable job. Diane

    1. I wish I had of had the Nikon with me but it is a hassle to walk with! The little Samsung though at least captured the moment. Hope it is warming up over there!! Diane
