27/05/2016 Around our garden.

Maximum temperature 23C, minimum 13C, 19 km/h SE winds.  3 mm rain measured.
Euro Fighter overhead today!

Lawn cut.

Azalea.

Cherry.

Chives.

Lizard in the fir tree!

Pansies.

Peonies.

Petunia.

Ladybird,

Rose.

Small Copper.

Thick-Legged Flower Beetle, Oedemera nobilis.  Thanks to Noushka now identified.

    Your "unknown" is the Thick-Legged Flower Beetle, Oedemera nobilis.
    The male has those over developed thighs!
    The petrol situation is becoming quite worrying indeed, although here there is no panic yet.
    I stocked up some food, just in case but with the removal coming up, it s really a worry.
    When all goes well, we take it for granted, I just hope it doesn't degenerate into civil unrest or worse...
    Keep well, I hope you can make it easily to Paris.

      The strike could not happen at a worse time for us, or for you. I just hope things get sorted out as quick as possible!! Both train to Paris and flight out could be seriously under jeopardy! Fingers and toes crossed!
