03/08/201 The day just vanished, a couple of quick photos from the garden.

Maximum temperature 29C, minimum 11C.  20 km/h NW wind. Dry.
Californian poppy.

Common blue. 

Gatekeeper.

Scarce Swallowtail.

As above.

Move cucumbers and courgettes (zucchini) from the garden!

    That poppy could be an emblem for summer. What a gorgeous burst of yellow.

    Lovely butterfly photos, and congratulations for the 'fruit' of your labour in your garden!!
    The, Swallowtail is gorgeous, it's a pity they loose their tails too quickly!
    Yes days tend to disappear so fast and it doesn't get better as we grow older :( LOL!!!

      Thanks Noushka, that one photo is quite different to my normal pics, I don't generally get body to the forefront! I quite liked it. It seems like it was only winter yesterday and the days are already getting shorter again!!!
