Maximum temperature 23C, minimum 8C. 52 km/h SE wind. Dry.
Fly and and ant!
Holly.
Hydrangea....
Most are drying off.
Lizard - male.
Blue tit - Hmm the water level is a bit low...
Complaining...
Looking around.
One little, two little, three little, four little, five little birds so small...
Great tit.
Indeed you are having a lot of sun!
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting for it here too, levels are very low now.
I saw your blackcap in the water dish, how cute all these birds bathing!
I use to offer them a larger pool when I was still on my property with low level water so any bird could bathe. Here is lot different, close neighbours one of which has 9 cats... :(
So I don't feel like encouraging birds in my small garden.
Keep well Diane, warm hugs :)
We had 16mm last night which was more than welcome. N had just planted broad beans so the timing was perfect:-) We have a couple of stray cats around here, but they have been chased away so often that they are now inclined to keep their distance. The birds are very watchful it seems though anyway. Hope you ave a good week, warm hugs Diane
DeleteI absolutely love the flowers, birds and cute lizard! Take good care of yourself, Diane.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, generally that is all I have to take around here :-) The lizards though will be hibernating very soon so one off the list. Have a good week Diane
DeleteBright and beautiful. Love your birds - not a species I am likely to see. Feathered enchantment.
ReplyDeleteAh but you have such beautiful birds where you live, we are quite limited by comparison. Hope you ave a good week Diane
DeleteThe weather looks great! The air is cooler and it feel so pretty. As always, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVelva
Thanks Velva, yes you are right the air is cooler and we do not enjoy it I have to say. We are not fans of winter, but I do get better photos of the birds this time of the year as they are much braver moving in closer for food and water. Have a great week Diane
DeleteSeeing that holly reminds us just how close Christmas is!
ReplyDeleteI hate being reminded of Christmas, but yes you are right, holly is a strong reminder!! Enjoy your week Diane
DeleteThe flowers and plants are still looking good. Love the little birds and the blue tit. Hope rain will come for you soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy and yes we had some good rain last night which was more than welcome :-) Take care Diane
DeleteStill quite a bit flowering. Just golden fall colors here.
ReplyDeleteMost of the flowers in the garden other than the chiosya are yellow, just matching the autumn colours! Diane
