Thanks Velva, it makes a change to take photos inside instead of the garden or round and about :-) Take care Diane
DeleteGreat historic memorabilia! I love the self portrait on the jumper! It was warm for winter. In the 60's F. It looks dry as most of the foliage that is visible in this photo is of summer growth areas, not winter grasses or weeds. We are in fact quite wet for this time of year with forecasted rain for the next 24 hrs.
ReplyDeleteWow that is warm, we were very cold today and it looks like it may get colder! Enjoy a bit of sun while you can. Keep well Diane
DeleteDiane, what a great post! You have wonderful talent, your afghan is lovely and your paintings are beautiful! I also enjoyed the vintage items in your images. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda for the kind comment. I wish I could get back to painting but that was all before computers took up all my spare time!!! Hope you are well Diane
DeleteHi Diane, that is a very beautiful piece of crocheted blanked. And you are a very good artist. You can paint so well and so good with your handcraft too. I also like your collection of Morris Minors. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy your comment is appreciated. Hope the rest of your week is a good one. Diane
DeleteYour blanket has certainly held up well. I can see that you have been wallowing in nostalgia for a few hours. It's fun to do that from time to time isn't it?
ReplyDeleteNostalgia is interesting as well, I have so many photos of the past, wish I had more time to go through them all. Diane
DeleteYou really are a multi-talented woman. The paintings are marvelous.
ReplyDeleteGaelyn I wish I had more time to paint as I enjoy it but I cannot remember the last time P picked up a paintbrush! Thanks, Diane
DeleteHello Diane , I remember you showing me you amazing paintings. They are brilliant. Wow crochet too. I have never tried. Amazing that you still have things from 40 years ago. I have have had a big sort out and things go back 20 years ago. Of course not photos. I just had to be ruthless. Take care xx
