17/01/2017 Busy around the house so just a few photos from the inside today. Historic!

Maximum temperature 5C, minimum -3C. 59km/h NE wind. Dry but heavy frost.
A blanket I crocheted over 40 years ago!

A painting of a Nyala that I painted for my Dad, also many years ago.

A painting that I did of myself at least 50 years ago !

Morris Minor cigarette cards.

The least historic - a visit to the Oktoberfest in Germany in 1998.

    1. Thanks Velva, it makes a change to take photos inside instead of the garden or round and about :-) Take care Diane

  2. Great historic memorabilia! I love the self portrait on the jumper! It was warm for winter. In the 60's F. It looks dry as most of the foliage that is visible in this photo is of summer growth areas, not winter grasses or weeds. We are in fact quite wet for this time of year with forecasted rain for the next 24 hrs.

  5. Your blanket has certainly held up well. I can see that you have been wallowing in nostalgia for a few hours. It's fun to do that from time to time isn't it?

  7. Hello Diane , I remember you showing me you amazing paintings. They are brilliant. Wow crochet too. I have never tried. Amazing that you still have things from 40 years ago. I have have had a big sort out and things go back 20 years ago. Of course not photos. I just had to be ruthless. Take care xx
