12/05/2017 A quick walk around the garden as I have been in the kitchen most of the day.

Maximum temperature 19C, minimum 9C.  12 km/h SW wind.   4 mm rain measured this morning.
The cherries are ripening, if all is well I will be very busy in the kitchen in a weeks time.

Dog Rose.

Young apples.

Daisies and fly.

Broad Beans.

Capricorn beetle (longhorn) munching on the dog rose (Cerambyx cerdo)

Common Lizard giving me the eye.

Forget-me-not.

  1. Diane, it never seizes to amaze me how you are able to name all the insects in your photo. I don't recall ever having seen a Capricorn beetle. Interesting. Another lovely series! And your lizard and last photos should be framed! :)

    1. That was a well posed lizard LOL. I do not know a lot of insect names but I have learnt most of the local ones but certainly nothing like all of them. Have a good day Diane

    1. I hope so as well LOL. Friends to dinner tonight Saturday and I picked a main course and a pudding that both needed most of the work done the day before. I hoe tonight I will discover that it was all worthwhile! Diane
