    1. I am sure walking around our towns is so different to yours, European history versus oriental history :-) Have a good day Diane

  7. Beautiful photos. I love the clean, litter free streets, very different to Africa. I think Red Admiral butterflies must be found all over the world. I have definitely seen them in my garden.

    1. Litter free in the country as well as in the villages, the one thing we really do notice having lived in Africa for 50 years!!!! I am sure Red Admirals are a world wide butterfly, they seem to be anyway. Have a good day Diane

  8. If I have to dress like that to farm forget it. Give me the tractor instead. Must be a lot of one-way streets as narrow as they are. I am impressed you make your own sushi.

    1. I would also dress like that if I was looking after bees, I am allergic to their stings!!!
The main road through La Rochefpucauld is mostly one way, BUT there are very few one way streets, you just have to hope that the ground next to the road is not soft and you disappear. Our neighbour a couple of years back managed to roll his car but I suspect he was also driving a little too fast as well!!!! Diane
