Shopping at Lidl.
Those garlic chives make such a beautiful backdrop for the bee. And, what a stunning shot of that butterfly about to take off!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks I was pretty happy with my photos today :-) Cheers Diane
DeleteGorgeous photos!!!
ReplyDeleteCooler.... I am hearing this, in blogging. Seems as it the Wheel Of The Year is actually turning.
I know! I know! You don't want to hear this!!!!!! :-)))))))
No I don't want to hear it but as long as it stays over 20C I am happy!! Take care Diane
DeleteGorgeous series, Diane. The pumpkin flower is vibrant and bright, and looks like velvet.
ReplyDeleteToo many cooks spoil the broth LOL, I am not sure why that particular flower was so popular! Take care Diane
DeleteIt is interesting to note that we have many similar insects! I love the cobblestone drive of Allo Jardin! Glad it was cooler. We have had a below normal temp August for which we are thankful!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Yes we do have a lot of similar insects. I think those 'cobblestones' are actually brick but they have a good pattern. We prefer the heat anytime to the cold!!! Take care Diane.
DeleteIt's an impressive range of insects you have in your garden.
ReplyDeleteI am always surprised when I see something new, I have never noticed the moth before, but it is so small I might not have noticed it!!! Cheers Diane
DeleteButterfly wings are a symmetrical wonder Diane! Fab macros. I know what you mean about hedges, we have a big hedge in the front and back garden that I used to trim.. in summer every two weeks, that I have now delegated to my husband 😀
ReplyDeleteButterfly wings are amazing, and moths as well. Our hedge is very wide and we keep it around 2 metres high and it is long with little space on one side. 12 years ago when we bought here I was much more capable than I am now!!! LOL. Take care cheers Diane
DeleteBeautiful flowers and critters! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy and a good day to you as well. Diane
DeleteYes its time to get ins someone to help with the hard jobs, The insect shots are great.
ReplyDeleteWe can cope with most things, but the hedge is getting more and more difficult as the years go by!!! I was pretty happy with the insect shots today :-) Take care t'other Diane
