The butterfly looked like a bird at first when I saw the “eye.” Love the lizard photos!
ReplyDeleteI do love the lizards, but sadly this year I have not seen a single green lizard which are genarally alaways around as well. Have a good weekend Diane
DeleteYou got some great photos Diane. You have been busy in the kitchen too I see. That is a lot of plums to prepare for the dehydrator. I'm sure you will enjoy them through the coming months.
ReplyDeleteWe do love our dry fruit, I use it in cooking and also we love to snack on it. Healthy and I know where it came from and what wa not put on it!!!! Take care and enjoy the weekend Diane

DeleteYour wonderful photos from your garden, Diane, give me the feeling that it is a truly beautiful place. I also get the impression that you put a lot of hard work into it. A lizard in my garden would possibly be the highlight of my garden year! Have a great weekend - - - Richard
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard I always appreciate your visit to my photodiary. I do love our lizards, I am only sorry there has been no sign of the green ones this year. Global warming perhaps!!!!! Take care Diane
DeleteThat's a lot of plum de-stoning Diane ☺ Love to see the flowers in your garden, especially the roses. Mine have all been pruned for winter, will be a while before I see a rose in my garden! Happy relaxing weekend ✨
ReplyDeleteIt seemed a lot I have to say doing them - almost 4 hours!!! Our Standard rose has not been good this year but the climber is just fine. Hope you have a great weekend Diane

ReplyDeleteSo sharp, so beautiful!
I love the lizards when they cool off their feet!!
To answer your question.... I arrived at an age where I can't be bothered anymore, living in fear is now a no go for me now!
Warm hugs and enjoy your weekend :)
Thanks for the kind comment. Glad to hear that you can't be bothered any more, time to live, play and relax :-)
DeleteHope you have a great weekend, and yes it is chilly this morning, definately warm hugs Diane
I have to tell you that I could smell those tomato plants as I was looking at the picture. I'm going to make myself a tomato sandwich right now!
ReplyDeleteTomato sandwiches makes me think of my Mum. If she wasn't well (which was quite often) my Dad used to make her such delicate tomato smadwiches with all the crusts cut offf. It was all she would eat. After all the years of him looking after her, she out lived him by 9 years and lived with us. Hope your weekend is a good one Diane
DeleteYou certainly give us a lovely variety of subjects Diane, and always so colorful. To someone who has a very visual brain, I adore them. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise what a kind comment. Enjoy your weekend. Diane
DeleteGreat photos of the flowers, vegetables and critters from your garden! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, hope you have a good weekend also. Take care Diane
DeleteReally enjoyed your beautiful pic of the rose and am envious of your beautiful round tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteThose garden tomatoes taste 100% better than bought ones, they have so much flavour. Cheers Diane
DeleteI thought I commented here but no sign of my comment. I am admiring the big tomatoes and brightly coloured flowers in your garden.
ReplyDeleteSorry Nancy, remember your day time hours are totally differnt to ours. Also yesterday I was extremely busy and did not get to the computer very much. As all comments have to be passed by me, they will not show up if I cannot get to the computer. Take care Diane
DeleteYour pics always make me smile. I esp live that you know the names of all the critters.
ReplyDeleteThat little lizard is pretty cool! I love the big tomato too. Nothing tastier than a fresh, garden tomato. Hope you have an excellent week!😂😂
ReplyDeleteYou two sure keep busy. Mouth watering at the sight of the tomatoes, and lucky me a neighbor stopped by with a few fresh from their garden. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Diane. I LOVE the lizard!!!!! Kisses, my friend.
