26/07/2013 Friends arriving from S.Africa for lunch and dinner today so a quick entry before they arrive.

Maximum temperature today 31C in the shade.  Three storms passed over last night, 25mm of rain.  Three branches down on trees including the fig tree.
All photos taken through the window so a little blurry.

    They may be a touch blurry to your eyes but they are gorgeous to mine.
    I love these sparrows. We have lots of them too, I’m glad to say. Perhaps their numbers are recovering.
