Those canned goods look very nice! The weather is chillier today here in Montreal as well!
ReplyDeleteLinda the weather is not a lot better today but it has been a bit drier this morning. Lots of canning still to go with figs just ripening, and then the quinces and the medlars. Also still quite a bit in the veg garden. Have a good day Diane
DeleteIs this your pantry with your stored preserved items? Oh wow. Love it.

Velva I am going to have to re-stack as there is still more to come yet, both fruit and vegetables! Plenty to eat for winter :-) Keep well Diane
DeleteSo much inspiration here I don't know where to begin!
ReplyDeleteSeeing all of your canning brings back so many memories for me, my grandmother use to can everything from jams to jellies, figs, and sauces!
All of your photos are so inspiring. I am trying to teach myself a little more about photography. I think, patience is the key. Your photos are stunning!

Thanks so much Shari for the kind comments and the visit, much appreciated. I have just finished a batch of fig jam, this is the first lot to ripen! As for photography I struggle along and do the best I can. Sometimes I am very happy with the results, others disappointed but that is the way it goes. I would probably do much better if I understood all the different speeds and apertures etc but I don't. It is all a mystery to me. Just keep at it and I am sure you will be happy with the results. Have a good week Diane
