I guess the lizard will enjoy the heat wave! :-)
ReplyDeleteJosé they are only out early morning and evening at the moment, it is even too hot for them Diane
DeleteThat is very hot for France isn't it? Do you have air conditioning?
ReplyDeleteDiane we often get the very hot day here but it seldom lasts as long as this looks like it is going to. No we have no A/C and because of my lungs never will have. I refuse to have it on in the car, all windows are open. I have had pneumonia 3 times and a close attack once, apart from the first time the other three have all been blamed on A/C. Keep well t'other Diane
DeleteA bit too hot Diane. We had considered putting in three individual room wall mounted DC inverter cooling systems before we left for the worst of the summer heat. It's not that there is a lot of it, but when it hit, especially at night, we were uncomfortable. No need for them here! Although even 28C here today. Stay cool.
ReplyDeleteCraig we do not mind the heat, lived in Africa for too long I guess but when it goes on for days, as it seems this is going to, it gets a bit much, especially for the garden We have an old stone house which is naturally cool and the shutters are closed with the windows open. We have enough light so it is not a problem. The only room upstairs we use is the office and I have a fan on up there and it is still 30C. See my answer above to Diane b why no A/C. Off for a barbecue tonight that may be a bit warm, will stay away from the fire! Diane
