I beg to differ, Diane, I think your photos are beautiful! And what a joy it must be to have these lovely sheep across the road from you!
ReplyDeleteWe do love having the sheep around but they also bring in the flies during summer! Thanks for the kind comment Diane
DeleteLovely photos of flowers and critters. The artichokes look like our sweet potatoes.
ReplyDeleteThe artichokes are much rougher than sweet potatoes and very much harder to peel. Scrubbing them is an option, but when they are really dirty and knobbly then that is also difficult! I have grown sweet potatoes here, but it is not really warm enough for a long enough period. Diane
DeleteAnother handy harvest. Sheep are good lawn mowers.
ReplyDeleteSo long as the sheep stay their side of the fence and do not mow our garden I am happy to see them there :-) T'other Diane
DeleteSure is nice to see all those spring blooms. What do you do with the Jerusalem artichokes?
ReplyDeleteSame as any vegetable, boiled, fried, roast as a veg, raw in a salad and they make amazing soups. Cheers Diane
