Hello I am waving to you LOL.
Peony,
Rose buds all from the same plant.
Rocket flower (In the USA known as Arugula).
I wonder if they recognise me...
Note the different markings on these two though they are so far as I know both Common Wall lizards. (Podarcis muralis)
The pretty pest known as the rosemary beetle here in the sage.
Wasp I think in the Rosemary.
Potatoes coming up...
and parsnips.
Wow....that looks like a big lizard that visited your garden today. Very pretty he is.
ReplyDeleteNot really that big, I can though get fairly close if I am careful. Have a good weekend. Diane
DeleteThat is the most gorgeous beetle I have ever seen, Diane! And I bet the lizard recognizes you. They are very smart creatures. Gorgeous photos, thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLinda they are gorgeous but sadly such a pest in Rosemary, Sage and Lavender. I think you are right they do know me they do not run from me like they do if anyone else is around. Have a good Sunday. Diane
DeleteSure is a friendly lizard.
ReplyDeleteHa ha waving to us all. I think the wood gets a bit hot for them and they lift there feet one at a time to cool down or just maybe it is waving LOL. Have a good day Diane.
DeleteLooks like you are having a productive spring. Love your photos, just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI hope we are going to have lots of veggies very soon, everything seems to be coming along fine after a frost hit the garden a coulpe of weeks back. Have a good day t'other Diane
DeleteThe colours of the beetle are just amazing. Wow!!
ReplyDeleteSad that it is a pest!!! Diane
DeleteYour flowers are so healthy and beautiful. And your edibles are doing so well. You really have green fingers and thumbs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy I am quite pleased with how the veggie garden is doing. Take care Diane
DeleteLovely photos. Your garden is waking up to summer.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a fabulous summer's day here today, I hope it remains so while ear are away this week. :-) Cheers Diane
DeleteThe lizards are very handsome and I envy you having them.
ReplyDeleteI still have to catch some shots of the green lizard this year, they are beautiful but also much shyer than the common wall Lizard. Take care Diane
DeleteYour garden looks absolutely wonderful, Diane, with beautiful and healthy plants and splendid wildlife. I'd try and negotiate a swap with my own garden but I'm a bit ashamed of it at the moment as there are too many weeds springing up! I suspect your garden get a lot of attention and work done in it.
ReplyDeleteI hope that all is well with you. With my very best wishes - - Richard
Thanks Richard, the garden is hard work and the produce always arrives at the same time so it is also time consuming. On the other hand, we do not have to buy vegetables in winter as I freeze, bottle and dehydrate.
DeleteThe wild life is pretty good :-)
Have a good week Diane
